Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) Annual Statement

We take infection prevention and control very seriously at the practice. As such, we conduct annual audits at our sites in Cherry Hinton and at Brookfields to ensure we adhere to national guidelines. We work hard to resolve any issues and are confident that we are meeting expected standards. The practice will be undergoing some refurbishment in the future to update flooring and some of our fixtures and fittings, to ensure a suitable and comfortable environment for our staff and patients.

There are risks we face regarding infection prevention and control. We ensure that for the protection of our staff and our patients that all staff are offered vaccines to minimise the spread of infection. We positively encourage all our patients to have vaccines when offered as well, to protect themselves and their community.

All staff complete annual infection prevention and control training to ensure the continued safety of patients and staff.
